What is a Fast Buy?

Fast buys are offered when a someone purchases a large amount of product in order to get a quantity discount, then sells any overstock product. The main difference between a co-op and a fast buy is that with a fast buy, the product is usually in the hands of the seller when the buy begins. Typically there is less waiting involved compared to co-ops, as there is no waiting to see if there is enough participation for the buy to be viable, and no waiting for a Host or Hostess to order and receive the goods before shipping commences. Shipping and handling is expected with a fast buy, and regular vendors often have fast buys. List fast buys as dutch auctions in the "Supplies for Sale" or "Non-Supply Related Auctions" category on SoapSaver.
